A statement piece. Beautiful genuine Narwhal Ivory pendant (2" long) x 3/8" wide with rhodium plated chain and sterling silver eye screw. Beautifully shaped with polished back side. Made from a tusk that was imported from Pond Inlet Nunivat Canada in the 1960’s by the J. L. Houston Company of Seattle.  We hand made this pendant from stock we acquired from the Houston Company in 2013 before they closed their doors forever.  When our stock is gone there will be no more, narwhal can no longer be imported into the U.S. (since 1972). The invoice will state that "to the best of our knowledge and belief this narwhal ivory predates the 1972 Marine Mammal Protection Act." This is the language that National Marine Fisheries requires sellers supply to buyers.
