The artwork depicts a "machine fish," which is actually a garbage sculpture made by bassist Monty Colvin, complete with turning indicator light bulbs for eyes. The song "Red Sun" actually dates back to 1989. Versions of the song were recorded for the self-titled album and Space In Your Face, but a re-worked version of the song made the cut for Machine Fish. Feel the Rage features artwork painted by bassist Monty Colvin. A new song "Paradigm Shift" is the second track on the Feel the Rage EP The EP contains two covers; "I Want You" by KISS, and "Junior's Farm" by Wings. Feel the Rage features two live tracks from Machine Fish  The originally un-listed track, dubbed "Grandmother's Coffin/Cabin," on the EP is a short bluegrass song written during the Machine Fish sessions. BPCD1654 GALACTIC COWBOYS - MACHINE FISH / FEEL THE RAGE 2-CD SET  ABOUT THE ALBUMThis 2-CD set includes Machine Fish and Feel the Rage, capturing Galactic Cowboys' distinct heavy metal evolution in 1996. Remastered by Rob Colwell and presented in a 6-panel wallet, this collection was previously featured in The Box That Bud Bought set, released in 2023 under Brutal Planet Records. Machine Fish, the band's third studio album and their first for Metal Blade Records, offers a heavier and more straightforward sound, stepping away from the progressive elements of their earlier releases. Cornerstone Magazine praised Ben Huggins' vocal intensity, likening it to the visceral experience of “being eaten alive by great white sharks.” The album cover features a "machine fish," a garbage sculpture by bassist Monty Colvin, with light bulbs for eyes. "Red Sun," dating back to 1989, was reworked specifically for this album. Feel the Rage, the band's fourth album and second release of 1996, includes the new track "Paradigm Shift" and two covers: "I Want You" by KISS and "Junior's Farm" by Wings. Live versions of "Idle Minds" and "9th of June," originally from Machine Fish, are also included. The EP closes with an unlisted track, humorously titled "Grandmother's Closet/Cabin/Coffin," a short bluegrass-inspired piece created during the Machine Fish sessions. This combined release encapsulates Galactic Cowboys' raw intensity and creative experimentation in the heavy metal landscape of the 90s. For fans of King's X, Atomic Opera, Faith No More, Extreme, Primus, Cynic, Tool.  TRACKSFeel The Rage 3:12The Struggle 5:53Fear Not 5:03Stress 4:35Psychotic Companion 7:31In This Life 3:13Easy To Love 4:08Red Sun 4:59Idle Minds 4:11The Lens 5:24Pattin' Yourself On The Back 3:45In A Lonely Room 4:459th Of June 5:23Arrow 6:56 TRACKSFeel The Rage 3:13Paradigm Shift 7:28I Want You 4:11Junior's Farm 5:14 (KISS cover)Idle Minds (Live) 4:28 (WINGS cover)9th Of June (Live) 6:15Grandmother's Coffin 0:44 TRACKSDISC 1Feel The Rage/The Struggle/Fear Not/Stress/Psychotic Companion/In This Life/Easy To Love/Red Sun/Idle Minds/The Lens/Pattin' Yourself On The Back/In A Lonely Room/9th Of June/Arrow DISC 2Feel The Rage/Paradigm Shift/I Want You/Junior's Farm/Idle Minds (Live)/9th Of June (Live)/Grandmother's Coffin
