The football (futbol/soccer) tournament was won by Italy, who defeated West Germany 3-1 during the final match. Each host city in Spain was commissioned to create a unique poster commemorating the event. Spanish artists were commissioned to design the posters for the 1982 World Cup finals in Spain, one for each city the tournament was in.
