z SOLD ~ Mural : Clouds in Hills

This is a small and relatively simple mural on a wall section, including a wrap-around wall.  The subject is several white clouds drifting into green hills. The original inspiration was to put in a dark background over a white wall to showcase some white marble sculpture in a private art collection.  Electrical outlets were left untouched and the design allowed for those white/light areas to be in the clouds and therefore less obtrusive.   Before and Process Images of Mural: Knowing that I would keep my antique writing desk in front of the wall, as well as keep the paintings in my collection in that space, I drew dark hills and designed white clouds in such a way as to accent the art that I was showcasing in that space. As I was also finishing up a commission in white marble titled, "Sisters," I wanted to do this project now so that I also had the fringe benefit of using the mural as a backdrop for photographing my own sculpture when I needed a darker-than-stone background.  Close-up
