This Boss Industrial 3 Point Tractor Drive Dual Action 16 Ton Horizontal / Vertical Log Splitter provides a fast split time due to its dual action splitting technique.  No waiting for the wedge to return, it's ready instantly to split another log after you have completed your split!  The dual splitting 3 point log splitter runs off your tractor's hydraulics.  We recommend your flow rate be a minimum of 4 GPM.  Your actual tonnage and split time will depend on your tractor's hydraulic output.  Average split times can be from 6-11 seconds.  The exact tonnage will depend on your tractor's output.  You will need to supply two 1/2” hydraulic hoses rated for 3000 PSI with a male, 1/2” NPT threaded ends.  *Tonnage ratings are rated at “maximum potential” which is 13 tons.
