  Öjbro socks are knit in Sweden using pure new Merino wool and feature patterns inspired by traditional Nordic designs. Thoughtful design features like reinforced heels and toes plus the addition of spandex for shape retention complement the softness and warmth of Merino.  The Yggdrasil design is inspired by the Viking-era Överhogdal tapestries with the world tree (Yggdrasil) and the bird who warned about Ragnarök. Designer Åse Öjbro's interpretation of the tree also features humans, the horses Sleipnir & Rimfaxe, and a Christian cross at the top.
