Anthurium forgetii is a hemi-epiphyte believed to be endemic to the country of Colombia. There is virtually no scientific information available about this plant, and very little is known about it's collection in nature. A member of section Cardiolonchium, A. forgetii displays velvety peltate (lacking a sinus) leaves.  This plant requires a chunky, well draining soil mix, 60-80% humidity, temps between 65f-85f, and bright indirect light, to filtered/dappled direct sunlight. Grow lights may be required during winter months. Water when the pot is nearly dry. May need to be repotted once every 1-2 years, but enjoys being rootbound. Make sure your pot has a drainage hole. This plant is toxic to pets.  *We have several of these plants this size for sale, so obviously the plant you receive may not look exactly like the one pictured*
