4WD Research Robot Chassis Kit

This is a highly-capable and strong chassis for your next robotics research project!  Chassis components are CNC machined from aircraft aluminum.  37mm DC gear motors are included, two with encoders to enable dead-reckoning.  These motors have plenty of power to turn on a variety of surfaces, even with a substantial payload (customers have built bots weighing up to 10 pounds based on this chassis). This chassis can be upgraded with optional micro-switch active bumpers, which can be attached on either or both ends of the chassis.
