While there is a whiff of volatile acidity, it's not enough to really diminish the appeal of the mostly sous-bois and earth-suffused nose. The still nicely vibrant and attractively textured medium-bodied flavors possess both good richness and complexity on the lingering if ever-so-mildly tangy finish. Even so, I quite liked this even if it wasn't perfectly well-balanced. I would add that if well-stored there is no apparent reason why this should not continue to hold well.
