Tasting notes: cherry-almond ice cream, vanilla, toffee, sweet oak, light baking spice; caramel, honeybun, confectioners sugar, woody spice, maraschino cherry; moderately long finish w/ cream soda, baked brown sugar, peppery oak, cinnamon, sweet clove Impression: This bourbon is a genuine crowd pleaser. The first thing I discovered upon nosing is a beautifully tempting cherry-vanilla ice cream with almond chips. From there the layers develop, with toffee and baking spice rounding out the nose. The palate and finish are just as sweet and welcoming, though balanced appropriately with peppery oak, clove, and cinnamon.
