Raconteur Rye - Gemini I (Indiana)

In a nod to the first two batches of Raconteur Rye, eight-year-old Indiana 95/5 rye whiskey was meticulously finished in Mizunara oak, 48-month cured & toasted American oak, and ex Indiana 51% rye barrels to create “Gemini I.” Raconteur Rye “Gemini I” presumes a seemingly familiar Indiana 95/5 plot, while packed with exciting twists and turns thanks to the variety of finishing casks employed. Raconteur Rye “Gemini I” is composed of the following whiskeys: 95/5 Indiana straight rye finished in Mizunara casks 95/5 Indiana straight rye finished in 48-month cured & toasted American oak 95/5 Indiana straight rye finished in “barely legal” IN rye barrels  Tasting Notes COLOR: copper NOSE: butter toffee, singed orange peel, baked apple, barrel-aged cranberry sauce TASTE: peppery caramel, sweet oak char, blood orange, applewood w/ lemon zest FINISH: long w/ woody vanilla, charred oak, fizzy cola, subtle clove & sassafras
