"Open, tasted and decanted; drank slowly over course of a meal. Initial big complex nose of dried roses and pleasant minerals, deep ruby red without much bricking, surprising palatte with still large tannic backbone, but still revealing a soft, balanced finish. The tannins subsided in the decanter leaving a very complex soft wine. Just fabulous. Not worried about it making another five years." -Julien Graves 95 points
