What's in a name? Would a Climber with any other name be as awesome? To this we say yes, my friends. We have NO idea why this 14-tool, splendiferous, extremely popular model of Swiss Army Knives is called the Climber. There’s a lot to love in this model, arguably it represents another innovative leap in the history of Victorinox Swiss Army Knives. But why call it a Climber? Maybe if it had a carabiner… The Climber didn’t have an official name for a number of years and went by a few different monikers before settling on this one.
