Skye Earrings

This style was crafted for my friend who couldn’t find the right balance of style, weight, and cool shape—so I made them for her, giving the namesake of Skye. Each piece is formed by hand so each set is ooak. This initial form is then subjected to a combination of hammering and flame. The act of hammering is not merely a texturizing technique, but a transformative process that creates incredible lightweight durability.  These are now available is 14k gold filled or sterling silver. Gold filled* there is a thick layer of 24k gold, bonded to brass. This layer will last longer than plated or vermeil, making it a better investment. To ensure it lasts as long as possible, avoid regular exposure to water from washing hands, shower, or swimming.
