Brunswick Crown 78U Bowling Ball
Brunswick has released the Crown 78U in response to the new USBC rules for urethane bowling balls. This gives bowlers more choices that are still allowed in most USBC national events. Brunswick didn't just follow the new hardness rules; they also saw that harder urethane was being used more and more on tough tournament patterns and by players with high rev rates. They made a urethane ball with more flare potential and more dynamic core numbers so that it would better serve those bowlers. The Crown 78U has the Tiered Hexagon core from the Crown Victory, which gives it a higher RG and a medium differential. This is a brand new urethane option that isn't available anywhere else. The 78-durometer urethane cover is harder, which means it can't move as much, but the new core design helps make up for that, giving today's competitive bowlers a new and flexible urethane motion. This is a pre order bowling ball and it will ship on the release date.Release Date: December 11, 2025. Performance
