Woodsman, 27mm

The Woodsman is the latest shaving brush design to emerge from our workshop.  Drawing elements from the M&F Highlander and our Arley, the Woodsman was conceived to answer the challenge posed by a very dense 32mm knot left over from an earlier shipment.  With that in mind, we wanted to create a manageably sized handle that would hold the knot in such a way that it be comfortable for the average sized man. The result is a low lofted brush intended primarily for face lathering but with a slightly longer than normal 52mm handle filled with our hand tied 2-band Finest badger knot.  This knot combines high density with soft tips to yield good "scrub" and luxury feel yet without a squishy "gel" feel.
