11x14” / 7/8" pour abstraction created in the summer of 2020. Using acrylic pour techniques, I attempt to recreate the mushroom cloud resulting from a nuclear explosion. The work uses a palette of brilliant magenta mixed with nickel azo yellow. The background is titanium white poured over ultramarine blue.
