Galaxy Foam - Sheets

NOTE: GXY Foam sheets will be discontinued and gradually phased out in 2026. As stock of the below-listed grades and thicknesses are each sold out, they will not be replenished. Please see our DAX Foam for another commonly used graphite-polyurethane foam until we begin stocking an alternative to GXY Foam.   Bramport Galaxy FoamTM is a graphite-based polyurethane foam designed to meet the stringent fire testing requirements for the aerospace industry. Galaxy Foam is capable of passing the FAR 25.853(c) oil burn test without the use of a fireblocking fabric. This is a cost-effective alternative to DAX Foam® for certain installations (not a direct replacement). Sold in 54" x 40" sheets. Also available in rolls. Note: Burn certificates are not provided for 0.125" thicknesses.
