Nomex Batting is used for adding a soft touch to seat cushions. It is excellent for channeling and tufting.  This batting is capable of passing the 14 CFR 25.853(c) Oil Burn for Seat Cushion test without a fire barrier, but do not use this product in place of a fire barrier. It is not adequate enough to protect the foam on its own. See our favorite Fire Blocking Fabric instead. 60 inches wide; 1/2 inch thick. Sold in 10 foot lengths (QTY 1 = 10 feet; QTY 2 = 20 feet, etc.). Includes FAA burn certificate for 25.853(a).
