The Juan Cruz de Urquiza trumpet mouthpiece, named after the splendid argentinian trumpeter comes in two different sizes:      JP: The diametre is slightly smaller than Bach's 3. A flat rim but very comfortable. A tapered C cup that makes this a very versatile with a rich sound specially for the higher ranges.      LP: the diametre and rim are the same as JP but it has a sharper and more brilliant sound. Great for lead trumpets. This hybrid is unique by its one-of-a-kind sleek design while also providing cushion-like comfort, especially for playing in cold climates.The cup of mouthpiece is made out of wood (curupay - quebracho colorado) and from the throat to the backbore it is made out of brass and silver.
