The Nautilus Pendant

This pendant is just full of detail. The concentric coiling rings are transected by numerous ridges and varied sutures that envelop the entire design. The mold for this pendant was made using a pyritized ammonite fossil from the Jurassic period. This piece is the positive, or the actual shell, unlike our other ammonite pendant (The Ammonite), which is the negative or impression of a shell.
