This is Toy Soldier 18th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry man wearing the Full French Chasseur Uniform. Union troops that were issued these imported French Chasseur uniforms as prizes for overall efficiency. This soldier was purchased by the previous owner at Le Petit in the 80s. I purchased it in 2023.
