Working Hands Bar Soap

This bar was formulated at the request of my husband to not only clean but moisturize his hard-working hands. I did my research and came up with the right combination of ingredients that fit his needs. Then, I simply scented the batch with sweet orange, lemon, tea tree, and lemongrass essential oils.  Ingredients: Coconut Oil and Castor Oil- natural moisturizers with humectant properties; they can draw moisture from the air into the skin to keep it hydrated. Both have anti-inflammatory properties which make them useful for treating irritated skin. They are antimicrobial which means they may protect the skin from bacterial infections by keeping out microbes that can cause disease. Both are very cleansing: The triglycerides found in them are helpful in removing dirt from the skin. Almond Oil- contains many vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that may help soothe and hydrate the skin. Palm Oil- a rich source of vitamin E, which is known for its moisturizing properties.
