48V DC Mini Split Air Conditioner & Heater

Powerful cooling with unprecedented efficiency. This air conditioner / heat pump cools and heats, and wires directly to a battery with no inverter needed. These are 48 volt units. 24 volt units are available in smaller capacities here. You need a 48V or 24V battery to operate these units, running them directly on solar without a battery will not work reliably and can damage them. The battery doesn't have to be large. The longer you want to run the unit without full sun, the bigger battery you want.
