This APIM can be used to upgrade your vehicle or as a replacement for your bad APIM. Select Factory Sync 3 Replacement and provide your VIN if you'd like us to pre-program a replacement module for you at no extra charge. These are ONLY compatible with the large format displays and will not work with 8" displays or any size Sync 3 displays. Our APIMs ship with a very recent software version that includes fullscreen CarPlay and Android Auto.  Sync 4 Navigation is a paid feature. If you previously had a multi year navigation trial or lifetime free navigation that will not work and a subscription may be required. Some vehicles may not be able to purchase this subscription. Without the subscription a map will only be shown but no destination will be able to be entered. CarPlay and Android Auto navigation will still function with no subscription. No OTA updates will occur to this APIM unless brought to a dealer to have the ESN updated in Ford's database. This is optional and does not impact
