Antique Victorian Ruby Bracelet Bangle Natural Rubies Silver Gilt (4255)

Antique, Victorian bracelet set with natural rubies. Made circa 1870 - 1905. Measures 60mm (2 3/8 inches) across. Will fit a wrist of approx. 7 inches. Mounted in vermeil, beautiful, bright pink natural rubies with an overlapping, scrolling pattern on the sides, leading to a central flower with raised center. Rubies are a great, bright pink color and good quality natural stones. Very secure, unusual clasp that fits well and has the addition of a safety chain, indicating the perceived value & quality of the item when it was made. Good condition.
