Crafted from a pitch-black Shell Cordovan from Horween and while naturally matte, this leather has the ability to shine up like no other. Nickel eyelets and speed hooks give this boot versatile style upon the popular and sleek Barrie Last, while the commando sole and black welt add utility and grit to an otherwise sophisticated make up.  Shell Cordovan is made from the connective tissue from a portion of a horse’s rump. It’s rare, low yield and known for its dense, tight grain and durability. This leather is highly regarded for being able to maintain its luster and shape over time.  Alden footwear is crafted using Goodyear Welt construction, which allows for a full restoration when necessary and a water resistant build.
