Perennial herb that is more fragrant and flavorful than the Garden Grey common sage. Well-suited for cooking and also popular as an ornamental semi-evergreen plant. More compact than other sage plants with silvery-green oval leaves and spiked purple flowers that bloom in early summer.Prefers full sun. Grows best in well-drained soil. Tolerates dry conditions - water as needed and do not overwater. Prune to 6 inches in early spring to encourage growth. Grows 16 inches tall and 24 inches wide.USDA Zones 5-10
