Beautifully finished, this square will last for generations without any tarnishing or rust. It is a handy tool simply because they do not contain a 45° leg. The DS-6 Double Square is precisely milled, creating a tool with an accuracy limit of less than 0.002" (0.05mm) over the length of a fully extended blade. Try Square The accuracy of this square is controlled within 0.002" (0.05mm) of 90 degrees measured at the end of a fully extended 6" (150mm) blade. Depth Gauge This can be used to determine the depth of mortises, dados, rabbets, holes and other assorted recesses. Marking Gauge Using this marking gauge, you can quickly and precisely layout the lines. Same Scale on the Same Edge at Any Time The 6" Imperial blades feature left-to-right and right-to-left reading 32nds and 16ths.(The 150mm Metric blades feature left-to-right and right-to-left reading 1mm with extra 0.5mm resolution at the end.)You can flip the square over and view the same scale on the same edge. These blades have the industry standard layout with similar scales on opposite edges. This is an incredible improvement and will create fewer mistakes. Laser-etched Graduations The graduations (1/16", 1/32") are laser-etched for excellent readability. MaterialThe DS-6v2 Double Square is milled from stainless steel plate that has great rust and wear resistance.
