Planting: Plant in an area where it can receive full sunlight (between 6-8 hours per day) or only partial shade, and water before planting. Dig a hole twice the width of the pot. Plant the flower 1-2″ above ground soil level and backfill the hole with soil. Water deeply to settle, then add more soil if needed. Mulch 1-2″ deep around plant, avoiding the area closest to the stem. 2. Watering: Water regularly, at least weekly or more often especially in extreme heat or containers. 3. Fertilizing: Feed throughout the growing season - monthly if planted in gardens, and bi-monthly if planted in containers.
