Oatmeal is said to allow natural and gentle cleansing of skin due to presence of saponins, it provides gentle exfoliation while moisturizing, soothing, conditioning, and nourishing. Oatmeal has qualities that are known to significantly improve skin dryness and roughness. It also contains flavonoids that are said to be a strong UVA screens as well as its non-irritating and has low allergenic potential and is suited for all skin types including sensitive and problem skin such as acne, eczema and psoriasis.
