Xport NO3 Plate

Porous ceramic block media for biological filtration. Doped with elemental sulfur. Designed for marine and freshwater aquariums with a pH of 7.5 or higher. One plate has ~71,000 square feet of surface area per liter of medium. One plate has ~125,000 square feet of useable surface area for bacterial colonization. Reduces toxic ammonia and nitrites to near zero in ponds and all aquariums. Reduces phosphate significantly and dissolved organics. Doped with Aragonite to buffer pH at the bacteria level and prevent acid buildup. Works as only filtration medium or with additional filtration media. 9" x 8" x 1.5" Plate. Made in the USA.
