Founded in the 15th century, Chateau de Pez is the oldest domaine in the Saint-Estephe commune. Elegant and well-structured, with dark plum and cherry fruit, a bit of tobacco, this Left Bank Bordeaux has big tannins and a long finish. It is mostly Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, with just a little Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
