It also showcases the cool nights and varied nuances of its vineyard sources. It possesses notes of blueberry, cassis, and coffee combined with more plant-based notes of sage and lavender. On the palate it has dark berry, plum, and cherry cola notes. For those in the know, Sonoma County has become the source of some of the world’s best classic Cabernet based wines. Its abundance of micro-climates and direct influence from the Pacific Ocean produces wines that can be full flavored yet savory, layered, streamlined, and full or aromatic enchantment. Bloodroot is enthusiastic to make classic California Cabernet inspired by the wines of the 70s and 80s. Sourced from vineyards in Knights Valley, Rockpile, Sonoma Valley, and Dry Creek Valley.
