The 2019 Château de Pez has a gorgeous nose of pure cassis and dark currant fruits to go with spring flowers, incense, and forest floor-like notions. Just gorgeous on the palate as well, with full-bodied richness and a plush, elegant texture, it's perfectly balanced, has sweet tannins, and is going to drink brilliantly right out of the gate.
