DETAILS This piece measures 65 inches wide by 50 inches tall and will protrude from the wall with a depth of about 7 inches.  Follow me on instagram @broadwick_fibers to see some videos of this piece and learn more about its creation.  A note on the inspiration behind this work: I’m not sure exactly when I read this quote by Vonnegut, but I know that it was around the same time I started this weaving because it was knocking around in my subconscious the whole time I worked on this piece.  Vonnegut “tells his wife he's going out to buy an envelope: “Oh, she says, well, you're not a poor man. You know, why don't you go online and buy a hundred envelopes and put them in the closet? And so, I pretend not to hear her.
