Turquoise Van Gogh stained glass earrings

Van Gogh stained glass has rich and luxurious color and is one of our favorite types of glass. These  earrings are turquoise blue in color and the glass portion is 1x1 inch with an attached hammered antiqued copper coin and copper leverbacks. Van Gogh stained glass is an opaque specialty stained glass known for its rich, intense colors and amazing texture and patterns. Van Gogh stained glass starts as a clear piece of glass. A layer of thick, specialized glue is applied to the surface, and as the glue dries, it pulls up the surface of the glass, physically etching the glass and resulting in the beautiful frosty, feathery patterns you see in the glass. The amazing color comes from automobile paint. We hand cut and grind the glass, then create the finished piece using our own specialized process.
