This is the original Alden work boot, in brown Horween Chromexcel leather, made famous in the Indiana Jones movies series, thus its popular moniker, the "Indy Boot". The 403 indy boot is built on Alden's Footbalance system and Trubalance last, first developed over 50 years ago.  The Trubalance last provides a superior support system for most foot types, thanks to its long heel counters and rubber Thomas heel. The long inside heel counters allow the foot to be properly supported from the heel to the ball, on both sides.  The high toe box allows for full movement of all toes.
