Cryptanthus 'Thriller'

Cryptanthus 'Thriller' is a cross of 'Ebony Beauty' x roseus. This hybrid rapidly forms clusters of small, upright growths with wavy brown and silver leaves, and tends to get quite large for a Cryptanthus. This plant typically attains sizes of between 10" – 15" across. Keep the medium moist at all times. Cryptanthus suffer if they dry out for extended periods. We have found that 'Cryptanthus 'Thriller' is also somewhat more sensitive to temperature drops so it is best to not let the temperature drop below the 50's for best growing results. When optimum growing conditions are met, this plant truly has that wow factor that will amaze and delight all who see it.
