Butterfly Pinning Class

Class Description All classes are held at Grace and Grit Flowers in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY 11222, unless otherwise noted. In this hands-on class, students will learn traditional techniques for pinning and mounting a variety of butterflies. Each participant will receive all necessary materials, including: Five butterflies (species will vary based on availability) Entomology spreading board Entomology pins Pinning tape A shadowbox frame to complete and take home their finished project Please note that photography, video, or audio recording is not allowed during class. However, you may take notes during the class and take photos of your finished work and the studio space at the end of the session. Class Details BYOB: Feel free to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy during the class. Ages 13+: Students aged 13 and up are welcome.
