Settlers of Catan

In the imaginative, strategy-driven CATAN board game, you and your game night comrades must compete with each other to become the first settler to build up your settlements and cities, own the longest roads, and develop the biggest armies on the island of Catan. Take turns with your opponents and roll the two six-sided dice to find out which areas of the island (“hexes”) produce natural resources, and hope that your settlements are next to those hexes. If so, you will receive corresponding resource cards (grain, ore, brick, lumber, wool), which you can spend to build up your settlements. But you had better stay on guard and keep an eye out for the robber who moves around the board stealing precious resources that your civilization depends on! Players earn points based on the number of settlements and cities they build, and by constructing the longest road, or largest army. The settler who first earns 10 victory points wins the game!
