I'm in love with the cover! And also the content. In 1779 Eliza Fay traveled around the globe, landing India (so yes, women have always been well-traveled), and these letters cover those journeys. Her 'truth-is-stanger-than-fiction' tales and turns put it in the same category as male travel writers, or is this its own, more earthy category? 'Lady Travelers' we'll call it. Like new copy, NYRB!
