XR3RED: The XR3-RED frames are 1/2" inch thick, will have a ramp on the top corner, and are 3" inches tall, about 3/8" inch from the bottom pin to the bottom of the frame. The Wrangler grips are about 1/16" inch (2mm) taller but, the same grips fit.   XR3: This is the older style frame. Blackhawk models 1962 and prior have the older XR3 frame. Also Anniversary models 2004/2005 and 2024/2025 may also have the older Retro frames. Also, the New Vaquero has this frame. Your stock grips may have MVQB engraved on the back side.   Super Blackhawk: Most of the Super Blackhawk models will have a larger frame and larger grips.
