Light and tight - everything you need, nothing you don't. That's the design philosophy behind the Scout Rig. A lightweight, no-frills chest rig made of 500D Cordura to keep your gear streamlined to your body, keep a low profile, minimize noise in the woods, and serve as a semi-modular platform for adding MOLLE pouches where necessary such as our 152 Radio Pouch. Over the years I've worked with countless designs, from chest rigs over IBAs we were running in Iraq to using modular panels in Afghanistan with plate carriers. And while lots of those designs were solid for the intended mission, the problem always boiled down to one reality - we were operating overtly in a semi-permissive environment. This is certainly not the case outside the usual military or governmental circles.
