Use it daily or save for special get togethers. microwavable made in Portugal Talevera style: type of Majolica (earthenware involving handmade pottery, ceramics developed in ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia) This item is handmade and/or hand-finished in a multi-step process. Because of the unique techniques used, consistency of the surfaces' finish, glazing and color may vary and appear aged or hand-applied. These characteristics are not considered a defect.
