Grammostola aff. pulchra (Brazilian black tarantula) 0.75"

Grammostola pulchra is a medium-sized species known only from the Brazilian State of Rio Grande Do Sul. However, with the redescription of G. pulchra in Pittella, R. S. et al. (2023), coupled with the fact that Grammostola quirogai was described decades after specimens labeled ‘Grammostola pulchra’ first entered the hobby and that the two species are sympatric, it has become clear that most likely all specimens within the hobby existing under the Grammostola pulchra label are actually Grammostola quirogai and that Grammostola pulchra does not exist within the hobby.
