Ten Golden Virtues: Poems & Murals

-- 2025 Silver Nautilus Book Award Winner in Children's Illustrated - Non-Fiction -- -- 2024 Royal Dragonfly Award Winner - First Place in Children's Poetry Books --     Poems and art by children who dream big   The diverse students of Instilling Goodness Elementary School and Developing Virtue High School write poems about their schools’ ten golden virtues, highlighting the unique way they incorporate these principles into their daily life. The artwork featured are student-painted murals that adorn their school buildings and walls.   The ten golden virtues are based in Confucian values and are: kindness, fairness, reverence for parents, friendship, humility, respect, citizenship, compassion, integrity, and trustworthiness.
