Choose the number you'd like and add to your cart and we'll select for you. Girasol Quartz is a variety of rose quartz, lighter in color and opalescent. The blue tinge comes from aluminum which is also what makes rose quartz pink.  The word comes from the Italian word girasole meaning “turn towards the Sun” - and originally referred to a milky blue glass first produced in Venice during the Renaissance.  The term in geology describes any mineral that displays the girasol effect: either an internal floating glow that moves with changes in the light, often white, blue, or golden yellow in color, or a haziness produced by scattered light instead. This light effect is similar to opal which is why some people refer to this as Blue Opal.  Judy Hall says this stone strengthens psychic boundaries. This basically means, you don't need to take in information from everyone
