Crystal Violet 2%

Crystal Violet is a popular stain used for differentiating between Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria. It is also used as a substitute for Ethidium Bromide in DNA staining. This 2% stain contains certified Crystal Violet, 0.8% Ammonium oxalate, and 20% Ethyl alcohol.
