An original English tile from the early 20th Century in a Gothic Revival style. It shows an image of three flowers within a scallop shaped niche. Beautiful colors. Measures 6" square. Attributed to H Richards, c1900. The condition is very good with minimal wear and a few nicks on the face. The back shows remnants of mortar. This tile was made through a dust-pressed technique in which clay powder is compressed under high pressure into a mold.Several of these tiles are available if you're planning an installation.
